Orangethorpe Avenue Overcrossing

CONSTRUCTION NOTIFICATION
March 25, 2016
The Orange County Transportation Authority is building a series of bridges to separate trains from vehicles along the BNSF corridor in Fullerton, Placentia and Anaheim. In accordance with federal railroad safety regulations, residents should expect to hear an increase in the frequency of train horns because of construction activities on and around the railroad tracks, regardless of quiet zone designation.

Attention motorists! Please be advised that westbound Orangethorpe Avenue to Chapman Avenue travel has reopened to motorists. However, the intersection is temporarily controlled with flashing red lights until the west side of the bridge opens in early June. Although the roadway is now opened, please remember to watch for changeable message signs and follow the posted speed limit.

Please remember you can follow construction progress on the individual project pages at the OC Bridges website.  Please visit www.ocbridges.com.   (Click on the individual project page, scroll to the bottom and watch the daily progress)
