Pool House Construction Monday, November 2

Construction on the new pool house/pool area is scheduled to begin November 2. Here is a letter that went out in mailboxes yesterday (Thursday, October 29.)

Dear Residents,

Construction on the pool house/pool area is scheduled to begin Monday, November 2nd. During the first week or two of construction, the contractor will be filling large trash bins which will be stored temporarily along the street in front of the pool area on Curie Lane. We will make every effort to lessen the parking impact as possible but we are recommending that residents park cars in their garages if possible or park along the southern loop between Curie and Salk during this time.

Extended work hours for Tustin/Rose Overcrossing

The OCTA handed out flyers today.

Tustin/Rose Overcrossing
Extended Work Hours:

As part of the Tustin Avenue/Rose Drive Overcrossing project, extended working hours will be required. Crewes will work on the newly constructed bridge on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 9 am to 5 pm.

Please note that work activities will be monitored and will not exceed permit restrictions.

The Orange County Transportation Authority apologies in advance for any inconvience this may cause.

Pool Closure

In case you didn't see the notice that was sent out by the managment company, here is text of the notice I recieved.

Las Palmas Estates Homeowners,

We are happy to announce that our pool and spa will be going under major remodeling beginning mid-October 2015 (actually probably November 1 now). Your Las Palmas Estates Homeowners Association Board have been working hard on these plans and are excited to see it begin to come to fruition. Unfortunately, this also means the pool will be out of commission until Summer 2016. We have a tentative re-opening date in the first weeks of Summer 2016, but as the case with a renovation, this date will be pending the successful completion of the project. As always, your patience and enthusiasm is appreciated. We look forward to a new pool facility that will provide many great memories and new opportunities for our owners and their guests.
