Problems stemming from OCTA construction?

Please contact Tresa Oliveri at the OCTA and they can address your home specific problems (cracks in fireplace etc). One of the homeowners recently complained about a rat infestation and the OCTA is paying for one year pest control.
If the problem is regarding a community shared property (block walls, streets) then please submit a request for repairs form to the HOA (in the forms page) and the HOA Board will forward them the OCTA.

Email from Tresa Oliveri regarding lack of lighting on Orangethorpe and property damage from construction

I’ve discussed the lack of lighting with the Construction Mgmt team and in turn it has been discussed with the contractor. SCE removed their service from that area to give the contractor space to work to put up the wall you see there now. I don’t have an answer as to when temporary lighting can be implemented, but it is on everyone’s radar and once I get information about when the work will begin, I will let you know.

If property owners have concerns about their property, please ask them to email me directly with their address. The process is similar to the Caltrans process and it goes something like this:

Once I’m contacted by a property owner, I request our Risk Management group to create a file number and to send the property owner a form to fill out. The form gets sent to the construction company’s project manager and it is then typically forwarded to their insurance company who processes the claim.

Every contractor handles these issues differently, depending on the issue it may be addressed immediately, or sometimes the insurance company requests the project activity near the property to be completed before it is processed.

As agent or representative for the HOA, I will ask that a form is sent to you regarding the Association’s perimeter walls. The process is the same as above.

We remain on track to complete the project on time and within budget.
